Meet the Queen of the Night.
Our friend Ashlie gave this plant to us as a housewarming gift several years ago, and it’s my favorite thing in the backyard. It’s still alive!
This plant is pretty cool because it blooms at night for just one night, and then the flowers wilt and fall off. It happens a few times a year, and it’s the best thing you’ve ever smelled, so you have to open all the windows and stay up late just sniffing the air. And it’s so pretty! I can’t resist a photo shoot every time.
It’s a bit challenging to keep the snails away, but if you can do that and feed it every now and then, it keeps outgrowing pots. We now have 2!
